I strive to provide reliable, professional, and personalized errand services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, and service-related concerns are handled.
By requesting a quote, scheduling a service, or using www.ierrandforyou.com, you agree to this policy.
1. Payment Timing
No payment is required to request a quote or schedule a service. Payment is collected once the service is scheduled or completed, depending on the arrangement. If a deposit is ever requested for a specific job, that will be communicated and agreed to before any work begins.
2. Cancellation Before Service Begins
You may cancel a scheduled errand before service begins. If cancellation is received before any travel, shopping, purchases, waiting, or work has started, any prepaid service fee will be refunded in full.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
3. Cancellation After Service Has Started
Once an errand has started, charges may apply. Service is considered started when any of the following occurs:
- Travel to a pickup or service location begins
- Shopping begins
- Purchases are made on your behalf
- Waiting services begin
- Pickup or delivery activities begin
- Time is spent performing requested tasks
If a cancellation occurs after service has started, refunds may be reduced or unavailable based on time already spent, distance traveled, purchases made, expenses incurred, and work completed.
4. Customer Changes After Scheduling
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of the request. If you change addresses, add stops, change timing, request additional tasks, or modify instructions after scheduling, additional charges may apply. Revised pricing will be communicated whenever reasonably possible before additional work is completed.
5. Purchases Made on Your Behalf
You're responsible for the cost of approved purchases made on your behalf. Once an item has been purchased, the purchase amount is generally non-refundable through I Errand For You.
Returns, exchanges, product defects, manufacturer warranties, and retailer policies remain the responsibility of the retailer or manufacturer.
Service fees associated with shopping, pickup, travel, waiting, or delivery are generally non-refundable once completed.
6. Service Concerns
If you believe a service wasn't completed as agreed, please contact me within seven (7) days of the service date. I'll review the situation and determine whether a partial refund, service credit, correction, or other resolution is appropriate. Each request is reviewed individually.
7. Circumstances Beyond My Control
Refunds will not be issued for delays or incomplete services caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control, such as traffic, severe weather, store closures, inventory shortages, and other similar situations. I'll do my best to communicate any delays as soon as I'm aware of them.
8. Failure to Complete Service
If I accept a request but I'm unable to complete it due to my own error, a full or partial refund will be issued based on the portion of the service not completed.
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact me first. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication. If a chargeback is filed for a service that was completed as agreed, I reserve the right to contest it with documentation, including messages, receipts, and timestamps.
10. Right to Deny Refund Requests
I reserve the right to deny refund requests that are fraudulent, misleading, abusive, inconsistent with this policy, or made after services have been completed as agreed.
11. Exceptional Circumstances
I understand unexpected situations happen. Refunds, credits, or exceptions may be granted at my discretion. Providing an exception once doesn't create an obligation to repeat it.
