Terms of Service

Welcome to I Errand For You ("Company," "I," "me," or "my"). These Terms of Service govern your use of www.ierrandforyou.com and any services provided by I Errand For You ("Services").

By requesting a quote, scheduling a service, using the website, or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

I Errand For You provides personal errand, delivery, concierge, pickup, drop-off, waiting, and related task assistance throughout South Florida.

Services may include: grocery shopping, prescription pickup, package pickup and delivery, dry cleaning pickup and drop-off, business errands, returns and exchanges, waiting services, administrative pickups and deliveries, and custom errands approved on a case-by-case basis.

All services are subject to availability and acceptance. I reserve the right to decline any request for any reason.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Every request is reviewed individually. Pricing may vary based on distance, travel time, number of stops, waiting time, scheduling requirements, special handling, urgency, and complexity of the request.

A quote will be provided and agreed upon before any service is scheduled. A quote is valid only for the specific request submitted and may be adjusted if the details of the request change after acceptance.

3. Payment

Payment may be required before service begins. Accepted payment methods may include PayPal, credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods.

Additional costs may be billed separately, including purchases made on behalf of a client, parking fees, tolls, shipping costs, store or vendor fees, waiting time beyond what was quoted, and additional stops requested after scheduling.

Failure to provide payment may result in cancellation or suspension of service.

4. Scheduling

Service availability depends on scheduling capacity, location, weather, traffic conditions, and other factors. Requested times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Unexpected delays may occur. I will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays when possible.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

Customers may cancel a scheduled service at no charge if cancellation is requested more than one (1) hour before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made less than one (1) hour before the scheduled start time, or failure to be reachable/available at the scheduled time ("no-show"), may be charged the full quoted rate.

Once a service has started, charges will apply based on travel completed, time spent, and any costs already incurred, regardless of whether the service is later cancelled. Refund eligibility beyond this section is governed by the separate Refund Policy.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding pickup locations, delivery locations, contact information, purchase instructions, access instructions, and timing requirements.

I am not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional charges, or inability to complete a service resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.

7. Purchases Made on Your Behalf

When purchasing items for a customer: product availability cannot be guaranteed, prices may vary from estimates, and substitute items may be used only when approved by the customer in advance or at the time of purchase.

Customers are responsible for the full cost of all approved purchases, plus any applicable service fees. Receipts may be provided upon request.

8. Prohibited Requests

I Errand For You does not transport, deliver, purchase, store, or handle: illegal items, controlled substances, firearms, ammunition, hazardous materials, stolen property, counterfeit goods, dangerous chemicals, or any item prohibited by law.

Requests involving prohibited items will be declined immediately, and no refund will be issued for any portion of the service already performed in connection with such a request.

9. Age-Restricted Products

For purchases or deliveries of age-restricted products (including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products), the customer represents and warrants that they are of legal age to purchase and receive the item, and that the intended recipient is also of legal age.

I act solely as the customer's purchasing agent for such items. Valid government-issued identification may be required at pickup or delivery, and I reserve the right to refuse to complete the purchase or delivery if age verification cannot be completed or if I have reason to believe the item is intended for an underage individual.

10. Independent Contractor Status

I Errand For You is operated as an independent business. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between I Errand For You and any customer, except for the limited purchasing-agent relationship described in Section 7 and Section 9.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, I Errand For You shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from or related to the Services.

Total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

I am not responsible for delays or failures caused by third parties, traffic conditions, weather conditions, store inventory issues, vendor errors, or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

12. Property and Item Handling

Reasonable care will be exercised when handling customer property. Customers are responsible for properly packaging fragile, valuable, or sensitive items prior to pickup.

I Errand For You is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate packaging, manufacturer defects, hidden defects, normal transportation risks, or conditions beyond reasonable control.

13. Website Use

You agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, submit false information, or interfere with website functionality.

I reserve the right to restrict access to the website at any time.

14. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, graphics, text, branding, and materials are the property of I Errand For You unless otherwise stated. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

15. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

I reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service at any time for any lawful reason, including safety concerns, abusive behavior, fraud concerns, prohibited requests, or violations of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the website or services after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
